Zachary Maxon
Welcome!
My name is Zach Maxon and it is my honor to serve as the Knob Noster Middle School assistant principal! I am beginning my fifth year in administration, and my fourth year in this position. This is my eleventh year in education overall, with my first six years teaching social studies and communication arts at the high school level. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in History in 2011, my Master of Arts in Teaching in 2015, and Education Specialist in Secondary Administration in 2020. All three of my degrees are through the University of Central Missouri.
My wife, Misty, and I have two wonderful kids, August and Charlotte. I enjoy fishing, hunting, and rooting for the Chiefs! Above all, I enjoy spending as much time with my family as possible.
I am proud to work with the amazing team at KNMS! We are committed to the academic and personal growth of our students, and strive to create a caring, safe environment with clear and consistent expectations to foster our students' personal development. Partnering with families is crucial for student success, and together we can help each student thrive in the classroom, develop leadership skills, and prepare for their future.
I look forward to continuing to work with all of our returning students and families, and welcome all those new to KNMS! Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have. Your partnership is greatly appreciated as we work together to create an exceptional experience for our students!
